Week 3 - 40 Day Soul Fast - Cindy Trimm

Welcome to Week Three of The 40 Day Soul Fast!

This week we will take a closer look at the life of the soul, what it is, and how it works. You are not alone if you've ever asked, "What is the soul exactly?" or wondered why it is so important.
Understanding our own true nature can be one of the most difficult things.
Consider the research invested in studying the human body--the science dedicated to understanding our cells and the chromosomes they contain.
As much as our physical nature is revealed on a cellular level, so is the essence of who we are hidden within our souls! By understanding the intricacies of our identity on a "soulular" level, we are better able to diagnose our vulnerabilities, supplement our shortcomings, and foster our strengths.
Just as keeping your body free from illness depends on a strong immune system, so the health of your soul depends on its ability to defend against whatever may cause uneasiness--or dis-ease.
Your body provides a beautiful metaphor for how your soul functions.
Proper nutrition, rest, and exercise will keep your body healthy and strong--as well as your soul. Feed your soul by meditating on Scripture, give it rest by casting your cares on your Heavenly Father, and of course there's no better exercise than worship!
This week, focus on properly nourishing your soul. Intentionally make time to find rest for your soul throughout the day--and strengthen it through offering praises to Him who is able to make all grace abound toward you!
Revelations 22:7 amp: Let everyone come who is thirsty [who is conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.

# Thank you to Dr. Cindy Trimm for empowering me through Jesus Christ.

"The Importance of Ordering Your Day" Cindy Trimm:

"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."—Psalm 90:12
Your future comes one day at a time—it is God's present to you. How you use it is your gift to Him. Time Management is the art of making every moment of every day count. You should not just spend time, but invest in time by ensuring that every action, every thought you think and word you speak is in alignment with the Word of God.
You have been given the opportunity to create a masterpiece of your life. Ephesians 5:15-17 (Amplified Version) gives us a foundational key regarding this very principle:
"Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time (buying up each opportunity), because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is."

The Key to Investing Your Time
On a daily basis, God gives us opportunities to advance His Kingdom. The key to making the most of every opportunity is to grasp firmly the will of the Lord. This is why it is vitally important to renew your mind continually with the Word of God. You must daily align your thoughts and words with God's. Jesus gave us a fundamental key to successfully commanding our every situation when He told us in John 15:7, "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."
This is why God instructs us to meditate on "the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe (exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it)" (1 Thessalonians 2:13, AMP). God's Word is life and health to those who find it (see Proverbs 4:20- 22). In Psalm 90:12, Moses made this request: "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
Ordering your day requires the ability to prioritize. It requires the ability to discern what is distracting busywork and what is Kingdom business. Effective time management requires getting God's heart on what is worth "investing" time in versus what we should not be "spending" or even "wasting" time on. As with any financial investment, you must ask what kind of return your time investments are yielding. Time "spent" is a cost—and you must be mindful of the benefit you are exchanging for the cost you are incurring.
God provided the ultimate example of effective time management and order in the Book of Genesis. In six days He created the earth and everything in it, and on the seventh day He rested. It all went according to plan. There was an order to when and how He created what and when—a succession and progression to how He developed each organism and species. God did not waste His resources, especially His time. He was purposeful and concise as He unfolded life on our planet.

Take Control of Your Day!
Do not miss out on the rewards of well-managed time. Order is what gives you the freedom to be creative. Order gives you the peace of mind you need to tune into God's supernatural frequencies and tap into divine inspiration. Without order you will be distracted with the cares and concerns of this life so that you cannot still your mind to hear God's voice.
It is impossible to imagine and envision when you are overextended and stressed. You need to schedule time to purposefully paint the canvas of your life by investing in creative dreaming. Stop to think. Order your day so that you have the time and peace you need to create the masterpiece God has preordained for you. Make certain that you have scheduled time for praying, meditation, reading the Word of God, praise and worship. I pray that you will bring order to your day and to your life.
I speak order to your life, ministry, finances, health and all things concerning you. I speak that your faith fail not.You may also gain more insight on this by reading the Commanding Your Morning E-Book which you can order below.

40 Day Soul Fast - Week Two

Welcome to Week Two of The 40 Day Soul Fast!

This week we are focusing on the purpose of soul fasting, the symptoms of an unhealthy soul, and how everything you experience begins on a soulular level.
It is truly astounding how little we understand about the life of the soul. I commend you for making the decision to do some soul-keeping--when your soul is in order, you will be surprised how this will impact the rest of your life!
Your circumstances, experiences, relationships, even your environment are a reflection of the condition of your soul.
Seasons of fasting from the clutter and minutia that crowd your mind and cloud your soul help you to more fully enjoy God's presence and discern His gentle promptings. Most of us are willing to heed His voice but are simply unable to hear it!
The key to greater peace and abundance is letting go of the regrets, shame, doubts, fears, insecurities, and emotional entanglements that keep you from the truth of who you really are--keep you deaf to your dreams and blind to possibilities--keep you from delighting in the Lord and entering His rest, and from trusting Him to faithfully order your steps. Hope begins to fade as the wellspring within you becomes muddied.
Take this week to get back on course. What are the things weighing you down, pulling you off center, or depleting your energy? Identify those things and begin addressing them mindfully and deliberately. Set some clear soul goals. How would you like your inner life to look at the end of this 40-day period?
It is up to you to take charge of your soul--and ultimately your destiny!
Mark 8:34 MSG: What good would it do to get everything you want and lose you, the real you? What could you ever trade your soul for?
Isaiah 55:2 NKJV: Let your soul delight itself in abundance.

40 day Soul Fast - Week One

The 40 Day Soul Fast Starts Today!

Welcome to the first day of the 40 Day Soul Fast! I will be journeying with you over the next eight weeks as we explore the life of the soul, the beauty of inner healing, and how to live more authentically from here on out.
This week's theme is about enlarging your capacity. During this first week, we will be talking about capacity building. This is how we come to understand the significance of the number forty.
Throughout the Bible, we see the number forty being associated with deliverance and Kingdom expansion. It marked significant periods of preparation and transformation in both the Old and New Testaments. From Noah to Jesus, the number forty represented a time of testing, transition, and metamorphoses (read pages 61-70 in The 40 Day Soul Fast book for a more in depth study).
Consecrate the next forty days to clearing your mind, liberating your soul, and freeing your spirit by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. By cleansing your life from the inside out, you will see all things become new in every area of your life.
Join me as we prepare our hearts for a fuller manifestation of God's glory to be revealed in our lives.
Start a small group and an activation prayer you can declare over your soul every day of the fast.
Make soul healing the focus of your Lenten practice and join me for the best 40 days of your life!
Psalm 139:23 msg: Investigate my life, O God, find out everything about me; Cross-examine and test me, get a clear picture of what I'm about; See for yourself whether I've done anything wrong--then guide me on the road to eternal life.
The 40 Day Soul Fast has been heralded as a life-transforming journey of inner healing by participants around the world.
